Rail Angle SW PRO + Adapter M8 to Leica + Leica-Prisms HIP

The 3480-10-10 rail angle allows for exact measurement of the track position. The reference point P (running edge) to be measured is located on the inside of the rail, 14 mm below the top edge of the rail SOK (running surface). Exactly this point is realized by setting up the SW PRO rail angle.

Design and advantages:

• Metal construction with hardened, 14 mm long cylindrical pin for precise contact at reference point P
• Cylindrical support of the SW PRO on the rail. This ensures perpendicular use at a constant distance from the SOK even on tracks with inclines
• Screw-in axis of the prism holder (M8 thread) is exactly above reference point P
• Prism can be rotated around the prism axis as required when the rail angle is fixed and aligned with the total station
• Adjustable sponge rubber stop. Once the rail angle has been set, this ensures that the cylindrical pin is always pressed lightly against the reference point P. Adjustment of the track width is only necessary once. If a prism with an upward extension (e.g. prism pole) is used, the sponge rubber stop ensures safe and reliable positioning of the track angle at the reference point
• The set-up can be carried out standing up, which is a great relief, especially when there are a large number of points to be measured
• The slim cylindrical pin can be used to fix a marking that may be have been made to the side of the rail
• The plumb line of the rail angle together with the prism is set with the aid of a circular level, which can be attached either to the prism holder or to the prism pole
